For the past 8 months, I’ve been watching my baby grow from a teeny, tiny 6lb and change newborn to a now healthy 20lb little girl.
I’ve cherished her first smile, her first giggle, the first “Da Da”, the first time she slept through the night, when she rolled over, her first time eating solid foods, when she sat up by herself, and now she’s even taken a step!
It just doesn’t get any better than these milestones.
And then I heard it!
For weeks, I’ve been “Na na na na” every time she needed something.
Right when I was feeding her dinner, she looked right at me and said “Mom, Mom, Mom”!
My heart just melted!
I clapped and hugged and kissed her!
Pure Joy.
Of course, right after she also said “Ba ba ba ba” so I’m sure she was trying to tell me something, but hey, I’ll take it!
